How It Works

SoundTherapies has an easy-to-use sound system with clear guidance for personalized background sounds.

When you listen, you can learn to increase what you need, such as relaxation, attention, or focus, and remember the rhythm feelings later, similar to remembering music. The sounds work by reminding your brain of the brain rhythms it already uses for relaxation, attention, and focus. Over time, many people find it easier to return to those states when they need them.

The sounds and personal guide are private and easy to use right away for fast results. The sounds are simple 20–30 minute background sounds for different brain rhythms, and they are white noise or have a simple rhythm. You can play them while watching shows, relaxing, reading, working, or doing other things. Most research is based on around 30 listening sessions for deeper learning, and some concerns need maintenance sessions. Most adults learn a new self-balancing skill with about 50 hours of practice, similar to balancing on water skis, ice skating, or balancing heart and brain rhythms more easily.
